High Ropes Course

There are plenty of operators in New Zealand offering the thrill and adventure of high ropes courses year round.

For those who are unfamiliar with this activity, it is best described as an obstacle course, high above the ground and usually permanently based between trees or constructed platforms.

Participants usually negotiate a series of rope bridges, tarzan swings, scramble nets and flying foxes and may even have to take a giant leap - all whilst being securely attached to safety ropes.

Your instructors should be qualified and experienced and also provide you with all the informtion you need to know regarding risks, so you can make informed decisions. Ensure you 'know your limits', ask lots of questions and have a great time.

Make sure you use the Outdoor Safety Code as a guide for essential preparation, complete your Outdoors Intentions where appropriate, use the links below and have a great time.
